Thanks guys!
So this just came in the post...

Such a gorgeous book!
And i finally got round to painting my first otherworld miniature the other night. This guy is my necromancer (He's since been finished so i'll get some nice photos of him with his minions soon)

Really felt my necromancer needed a hovel and found this bird house in hobby craft for £1

sculpted a door and window for it

then lathered it in textured paint and bits of card

and it's nearly time for my necromancer to move in, just some details to do

Jesus man ,slow down ,otherwise you'll end up having to let friends play on your gaming table instead!

never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.

Very nice work on that. I love the window on the hovel. It looks like an eye. :)

COOL STUFF! The Necromancers digs are suitably spooky with a certain mausoleum feel to it...I love the window & the roof. VERY WELL DONE, one & all!

Thanks!
I finished the hovel last night and managed to get a more dynamic photo of my undead so far

Got myself a cannon and stone thrower to paint up tonight! Can't wait to make the crew for them

That's a great bit of scenery - and wonderful painting. I love the shields!

Thanks! The shields were a lot of fun to paint.

Ok Saturday so day off and time thankfully this came just in time...Got the 'barbarian catapult'  from Scotia Grendel. It's sooo cool! Just made a skeleton crew for this bad boy

And I got this with it too, an absolute beast of a cannon! Not sure what to do for the crew of this. I'm tempted by chaos dwarves with a slave ogre, or possibly deamons.

Yeah. Been on the store a few times but never really seen much of the fantasy stuff painted up, so it's great to see it.

Great stuff. I really like what you did with the WF Skeletons. I wasnt so sure if I would use mine as skeletons or just for parts, but your post has shown how well they can look. However I dont think I can match your shield painting skills. Awesome work and a good use of different manufacturers!

I'm eyeing up the barbarian chariots.  I will certainly be back for those in the not so distant future.

Thanks! The studio photos on the WF skellies really don't do them justice. They're easily the best skeleton kit available. As for the shields, I find 2d painting much easier than model painting, but I do get a lot more practice.

Got a little more painting in last night

Stunning! You paint and post even faster than I can follow your post and I don't want to miss any as I like waht I see.

The skellies are indeed pretty good, love the set as well. I might "steal" you idea of turning them into crew for warmachines...
Nice work on the scotia grendel stuff as well. I have those pieces as well and the cannon ended up with my (chaos) Ogres, but would do well with a chaos dwarf slave master as well :)
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?
