Oh yes, that is nice!  :)

PortCharmers,
I made the weld seams with "puff paint"...that weird 3d crafting paint for clothes....it is quite fun to use as welds, or even rivets...filler!
Eric the Shed!...that is monsterous for me....have at it and have fun!!
This is all gamer mac and fram's fault tho! lol

Thank you so much guys!!
Muzfish4,
I used this product...I thinit down with a little water after thoroughly mixing it as it is THICK with real metal shavings...
I thin it down so i can have more control when I paint it onto the surface to be rusted...once it dries, paint the activator over it...
after about 20-30 minutes, it will begin to turn into "rust"...you can let it go for a few hours, or seal it with a clear matte coat when
it turns to your desired effect...

You can find this stuff at Michael's, Joanne's or probably most any good craft store...they have many different colorings as well...you can also google it.
Cheers,
Carl

Thanks for the advice, Carl.

I'll keep an eye out for this stuff next time I find myself in a craft store.

That's fantastic.
There's nothing like the satisfaction of doing a scratch build that comes out looking so nice.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.
