Anyone ever done Ash's Lion Azure mercenary company?

In the middle of reading Mary Gentle's book "Ash - a secret history" at the moment and really enjoying it.
It is the story of a girl growing up with a mercenary company in the late 15th century and eventually leading one of her own - The Lion Azure company.
It starts at the siege of Neuess in 1475 and is a real dirty, hard hitting story definately not for the faint hearted, although it unexpectedly changes direction as the Visigoths invade Europe with stone golems and other weird stuff.
I was wondering if anyone has ever painted some figures to represent the Lion Azure company. If so i would like to see some pics.

From what I remember, been a while since I read it, they are a fairly standard merc company aside from the commander. In fact don't they use a red diagonal cross as their mark?

Maybe. I am half way through the book and its a wopper (1100 pages) so i have not yet gone back and started looking for detailed info.
