Swamp Fox
« on: 08 August 2015, 07:26:21 AM »
The Swamp Fox emerges from the swamps to cause all kinds of headaches for the British.
Figure by Fife and Drum, painted by John Bryant.

I did the rest, including scrathbuilding all of the terrain. The moss tree is home made, as are all of the grass tufts and clumps.

I try for some better pix another day.

Nice work. And nice work to Mr Fox for keeping his whites so clean.

Love the swamp scenery, looks very wet and humid. Well done.

Francis Marian was quite the guerrilla fighter. There are some great stories of his exploits.

He also had malformed legs; which presumably restricted his ability to do various things.  I dont know what impact it had on riding a horse.

I'm having flashback to Douglas Bader, so malformed legs would've allowed Francis to perform high G turns on his horse without blacking out.
