With Argonor's Attic Attack comming up this weekend - Something that honestly took me a bit by surprise, since I thought I had another week to prepare
- I find myself needing a warband, with my necromancers group not being remotely close to done. Those guys take an age to paint.
Good thing I have all that stuff I use for Song of Blades and Heroes. While it might be a smaller scale (25mm, or "old citadel"), there ought to be enough miniatures painted in my collection to make up a warband. To the storage I go.
and this is what I came up with:
Though they only number 9, they'll have to do: I wanted to have a variety of the specialists from the get go, because of the "coolness" factor.
The fodder:
These are the fodder division, there to provide numbers and be disposable. And also lug around treasure.
They are a Thief, for the speed, two thugs, and a warhound. I've always liked having dogs in my warhound, so there was no way that I'd leave one out of this group.
The 'Core':
My wizard, a Treasure Hunter and a Templar. I find that the Treasure Hunters fast move, high Attack and lightly armoured nature makes it a very good candidate for being represented by an elf. And I really like this wardancer miniature. Likewise with the Templar - He is slow and tough; the perfect dwarf.
The wizard will propably be an Illusionist. That, or a sigilist. I haven't entirely decided.
The unfinished:
These are the last two guys that I need to finish - Which should be manageable, seeing as they are both under way. An Apprentice and an Archer (maybe ranger later?).
And thats about it. I'll of course post some more pictures (better) when I finish painting the last two guys
Looking forward to trying out the game.
