Fireforge plastic spears?

Tempting for plastic conversions and different things. I think wire spears are okay, but used 'em more out of necessity. Has anyone tried them yet? Are they FF store exclusives or are there any other stockists? Can't find too many meself.

(And, why four different sizes? Why not sell the 8cm ones and let folk cut them down...?)
