Superb work,
It also illustrates just how much the bar has been raised since these figures were first released
Oddly enough, I think it shows the complete opposite!

I don't think any recent GW lizardman or Slann figure can hold a candle to Kremlo; he's tremendously natural-looking - at least as much as can be for a humanoid frog dressed in Norse gear! - and a really nicely composed miniature. I also think a lot of today's sculptors could benefit by taking heed of the appropriately sized Danish axe!
Also, the beckoning dwarf (Thorgrim Branedin, if I'm not much mistaken) strikes me as far superior to any of the dwarfs that GW currently produce. Look at the composition of the figure (and the realistic scale of his Warhammer): are there any current GW dwarfs that wouldn't look cartoony in comparison?
I have both of these miniatures, and they look great alongside their creators' very fine current offerings (Perry foot knights, for example). I find that's a comparison that really shows up the awkwardness of many contemporary fantasy miniatures.
It's great to see these great old miniatures painted up. Great work - and especially on Kremlo!
