Kitbashed AoS miniature: The Beloved of Pyaray

I acquired one of those Age of Sigmar miniatures with the oversized hammers (the first thing to go under the knife!). I thought he might make a Moorcockian chaos champion for SBH and Dragon/Lion Rampant. So here he is - the Beloved of Pyaray:

Yes, I think that would improve it. The mace is quite fragile, though - not, oddly enough, where I transplanted the head, but where the haft meets the hand (it's broken halfway through several times). I might try to "melt" a suitable spike on with plastic cement, but it will be a delicate task.

I showed the miniature to my son this morning and asked if he liked the octopus shield. "Daddy," he said scornfully, "That's more like Cthulhu than an octopus. Octopuses don't have reptilian eyes."
