i think the choice of the home base Needs help,
cause the Inn is the most obvieous choice and i know no one who did
no take it.
An additional Member in the Warband is far better than a simple Bonus on Spells.

So i would thin the following would be better:

Temple: add: all models gain +1 on their Survival rolls after the game
Crypt:    add: your warband may include 2 Zombies
Tower:   add: your warbad may include an additional Construct
Brewery:add: you gain a +1 Bonus on the spell brew potion

no ides what to add to the others.....
maybe an additional animal companion ?

your opinion ?

I think like most people I dismissed all the other options straight away for the extra soldier slot. I'm not sure if any tweaking would get me to change my choice either because I don't see anything else being as useful personally but it sounds like you've got some good ideas going on there. Thanks for sharing

My main warband uses the Laboratory, because a guaranteed 20XP per game is not to be sniffed at!

Laboratory with 20 extra xp my choice aswell.
In theory I can ad up to 12 demons to my warband so I dont think the one extra slot
makes some difference...

@Geki.

How are you getting 12 demons! I must have missed something. I thought it was 1 bound demon per spellcaster so 2 max, one for the Wizard and one for the Apprentice. You could have 2 unbound Imps from the Imp spell. What have I missed?

If I get the Demon in the bottle poition right then you can give each of your members
one poition and crack them open in game.
Since my Spellcaster got poition brew, he and the apprentice brew at least one demon before each game.
If you collect them you can ad in theory 10 minor demons since they are bound to your warband and not to your wizards.

But thats just the theory.

I have to say free money from the Treasury and Brewery aren't bad (granted the amount is probably low as the game progress) and saving money on new soldier especially early on could be a real boost for a struggling war-band. The library gives you a 20% chance of getting a free scroll or Grimoire.  The Laboratory's free experience is also handy as others have noted.

The Temple, Crypt and Tower are only useful if your wizard has certain spells. Those three might need some tweaking.

The Crypt sounds tasy! Two extra sets of hands can come in handy at times! ;)
