Hello from Maine!
« on: 14 September 2015, 10:26:27 PM »
I am new to this forum as well as miniature war gaming in general. I have played dozens of tabletop RPG's both using miniatures and not, but never felt that I had the extra income to really start a collection of miniatures until last year.  I have not actually bought any miniatures yet as I am still assembling the tools and stuff that I want to have. I am a complete newbie but I am doing all the research that I can and enjoying the process.

Thanks to all for allowing me into this forum and I hope to learn lots from each of you!  :)

Welcome to Lead Adventures!

Although I still have a leadpile from the late 70s/early 80s, most of my recent purchases come from Foundry. Great figures, though I understand some of their fantasy ranges have been discontinued or spun off to other suppliers. Their basic sets of paints are a great foundation to work on, I love the three-tone system, even though I'm trying to branch out and mix more intermediate tones these days.

Cheers,    --- Phil from France
