Lion Rampant retinue

Painted for a friend.
Lion Rampant retinue- Medieval mercenaries.
All Citadel/Wargames Foundry models.
Couple of conversions too( one other and two broken markers not shown)
Pavises are Perry palstics

Nice, crisp paintjobs  :)  Fun seeing those old Perry sculpts to their more recent work.

Lovely work. I like those pavises and the guy with the red buckler's facial expression.  :D
The pose and facial expression give the impression he's been kicked in his "bollock dagger."
Now what is this whole life of mortals but a sort of comedy, in which the various actors, disguised by various costumes and masks, walk on and play each one his part, until the manager waves them off the stage?

I played against these very figures yesterday. The photos definitely do not do them justice, they are absolutely gorgeous.  :-*  :D  :-*

It's easy to forget how much character is in the older Foundry ranges.
