Wastland Patrol 3
« on: 21 September 2015, 07:32:51 PM »
Very quick game last Tues eve. The intrepid lawmen were victorious again, this time cleaning out a nest of nasty Neo-Soviets from an old factory complex.

Ouch.  Pretty one sided beating on the Sovs but still a good show of some nice models and terrain.  What is that beastly giant model?  It is pretty cool.  I liked the way you delivered the battle report with story and accompanying photos.

Thanks.

The large mutant beast is an old VOR NeoSov Cyclops model. There are a couple variants IIRC, and they pop up on eBay every now and again. Easy to pick one up. (or several, if needed.)

Thanks for reminding me about Cleared to Engage! I've been meaning to give it a go but there has been a real deluge of stuff to play lately.

Please do mention CtE when you post your AAR's... Always enjoy some d10 gaming!

Good stuff!

It's all in balancing the stat lines I suppose...

For me, it's all about balancing the story line. Does either side stand a reasonable chance of winning if played intelligently, in keeping with the aesthetic of their force?

What'd you use for the big green-skinned supermutant? He looks very convincing.
