Really cool; Golden Age/ WW2 supers rock!  What system did you use for your game?

Out of curiosity, why?
I have 2nd editions Super system, and have been thinking about updating to a new system, but have yet to do so.
Are their aspects of 2nd edition you like better?

I've mentioned in earlier posts, but as a short answer, I didn't think version was broken.
I really liked the AP (Action Point) mechanic. You used these to attack, move, pick things up, etc. This could lead to some great brawls with multiple attacks. In later versions this went towards standard moves. Move-Attack. You could "buy" the multiple attack power, but eh...
I just like what I like. Great system, though.

Thanks for the reply! I did not know that they had moved into having a move/fight system rather than an action point system.

I never played 2nd edition, only SS 3rd. I recently ordered a copy of 4th edition from Lulu, but am waiting on support to get back to me, as the eBook download that was supposed to come with it hasn't showed up yet.

The only-one-attack-per-activation in 3rd edition was one of the only things I didn't like. The dice pools were tweaky but manageable. I'm not sure if they've kept the limitation in 4th, but if it's still there I'll likely house-rule it out. It might be a balancing decision, but will be worth testing. I'd rather have a more free form game like what Pulp City does than something so regimented.

Great painting by the way.
