I´ve finished the "Leicht-Kampfgeher" from Sharkit, and since I don´t intend to use it with the Wolfenfels project (the stylistic difference is a tad bit pronounced for my taste), I thought I´d reprise my original WW2 pulp setting as an aside while the ship for Grimm and my castle are constructed.

I thought that Panzergrey was inappropriate for the LKG, due to the small size and more futuristic shape, and thus I chose an ambush ("Hinterhalt") pattern for the model. I think it worked out pretty nicely, and the second one (made from the extra parts I got and some other bitz) is assembled, awaiting the primer coat and an arm weapon (still undecided between Panzerschreck rack and a Nebelwerfer).

Assembled model, unpainted:

Painted model, using GW primer and Vallejo Game and Model Color paints:

It is mounted on a 5cm/2" steel washer. I´ll do some pics with infantry and terrain tomorrow afternoon.

That is really fantastic.

It has the WW2 look and feel to it...but then again not...(perfect for this Genre!)

Very inspiring.  Well done sir!

Still think you need to pull the gun off, put another arm on and swap out the head and make him a sweet pulp robot.

Cool, very pulpy. Excellent paint job there as well! I like the size as well, it seems to fit pretty nicely.

I like the 30mm cannon, and you can kiss my shiny camouflaged metal butt! :D ;)

No really. I had actually thought about it, since I also got some spares, but I was afraid it would look too similar to the Robots from Laputa: Castle in the Sky, and I really liked the original concept.

An image featuring the Ausf. B Leichtkampfgeher, with Rocket Launcher scratch-built from plastic tube and sheet, the fuel tank a Tamiya 1:48 barrel, and an exhaust from more plastic tube. The rest is a "Kitbash" from the extra parts I got.

Great job on the kitbash. You have quite an arsenal of walkers going now.
