My necromancer warband

Finally got some photos but they aren't great. Sometime I'll try to get my lighting set up proper and take some better ones.

My necromancer and apprentice, Reaper Bones Dark Rasp and female necromancer.


My theives using left over GW skellies and some Frostgrave bits.


My thugs using GW skellies.


Infantrymen using Reaper Bones armoured skeletons.


Men at arms using Reaper Bones armoured skeletons.


Archers using Reaper Bones. Don't like the guy on the right much and will probably replace him sometime.


Crossbowman (GW with Frostgrave crossbow) and marksman (GW head, frostgrave arms and crossbow and WGF viking body).


Treasure hunter (Frostgrave with GW head) and tracker (WGF vking body with GW head and arms).


Ranger (Frostgrave with GW head) and barbarian (GW with Frostgrave sword).


Knights using Reaper Bones barrow wardens.


Zombie and templar using Reaper Bones.


Still on the to do list; apothecary, second zombie, 2 imps and the new soldiers from the Lich Lord. Going to focus on more terrain and our enchanter warband for a bit first though. I want to see what I can do with the undead parts in the new cultist box when it arrives.

As a bonus (meaning I don't feel like opening another thread cause it's late) here's some of our treasure tokens and a WIP photo of some cork board ruins.

I like your skeleton war band gives me a few ideas how to progress mine.
I played my first Frostgrave game last night with a Necromancer and didn't manage to successfully cast a single spell and my wizard was reduced to 2 health by a doggy attack

Black Burt, our necromancers must be related or went to the same school. I have a very poor success level casting spells. I can't even get off the low level spells very often. He gets knocked out almost every game too but so far I've been lucky on the wound rolls and he's always fine.

As for the casting, my first game I got my butt handed to me, and only got off 1 or 2 spells. The 2nd game I used tactics and spell firepower and even though I blew some rolls, my strategy worked. Hang in there with the spells, the rolls will come. But if not, have a plan B!
