Hunting the Treasure Hunters - A Pulp Alley Game
« on: October 10, 2015, 01:23:15 PM »
Five European speculators have descended on the small town of Outer Fociz. One of them is after something valuable, but which one?

Got in a four player game of Pulp Alley over the school holidays with the boys and a boardgaming friend. We played the Soerbaja Manhunt scenario from Perilous Island.

You can read the whole story over on the blog: butterfly collectors, falling black marketeers and the pink bloomers of doom!

Where did you get the market stalls and the various sale items on them?

Hi Sinewgrab,

The stalls are scratchbuilt - matchsticks, balsa, old bedsheet clippings! The goods, which I really love, are from Steve Barber (he also sells stalls): http://www.stevebarbermodels.com/39-28mm-market

More marvelous stuff. Your collection and games are incredibly inspiring, and I must admit to laughing out loud at the pink bloomers of doom (and the figure holding them). Thank you as always for sharing!

Thanks! It's a great figure, and it just happened to be in the place where the figures were running through - what else could we do!

Cracking report and nice piccies Bill. Those pink bloomers, oh my! lol I enjoy that in PA (and most wargames TBH) the silliest and littlest things are the most dangerous. (IE bretonnian horses hooves in battle, and tripping over sticks!)

Cheers
Matt

That's the truth. One of our past players (since moved away, sadly) had a thing for falling off walls.
