A Lion Rampant convert then Richard?

Well, that's only the second time I've played it, Ray, but I do quite like it.
Maybe I'll buy a copy  ;)

An absolutely beautiful looking game gents.

Nice to see my own local Lord (Rhys ap Thomas) getting in on the action too!

Truly excellent game featuring two amazing collections. It sounds like LR stepped up to the plate too (see what I did there  ;) ).

You've also demonstrated that there's a lot more to Medieval battles than just "lining 'em up and slogging it out". Top job!  :)

If you're interested in Rhys ap Thomas and / or Wales in the Tudor period get yourself a copy of 'the man who killed Richard III' it's fascinating.

Well worth it Richard, it's a very fluent game and a lot of fun :)

Busy day, so just found this post. Many thanks to Richars for the great pics and kind words on the game. Thanks for all who played and stuck with Stuart and i's learning-as-we-go re the rules. We both spend time painting and converting our respective collections, but don't play much.
Compared to other BLAM games, it looked a little spartan - however hopefully it met the remit of a 2 hour 'skirmish with a goal' game in a period which others weren't doing?
Great fun and nice to meet new folk from the forum.
Stuart and I will try and come up with something for next time.

Simon, I thought you're table looked rather nice. The grassboards were very effective. I meant to ask what they were as it didn't look like standard grass mats. I forgot though in our haste to run down the English!

Elk101 -
The boards were made by Keith at Realistic Modelling Services - he's now recently retired. So a couple of them have been added by me, tricky to get them to exactly match in, but they look Ok with figures etc laid on top.
Cheers
Simon.
