Weird WWII , Zombies/ Vsf
« on: 15 November 2008, 07:46:52 AM »
I just have to say I been inspired by many people in this forum
what they can do with miniatures!

I am looking for 1/72 scale preferable pewter/lead miniatures or even plastic
of buildings and vehicles for a Weird World War II and VSF/Zombies

I have 1/72 russians (ruskians), germans (germanoids),
american (amers), and british (britsk) going to be painted.  These are plastic.

But I don't have any buildings or vehicles at all.

Any suggestions where I can find 1/72 buildings and vehicles.

I would gather even up to 25mm buildings and vehicles would be alright for 1/72 scale (20mm).

I'm in the USA, and have to find these things yet here, with little such 'luck'.
Reasonable prices help too!

Most of the 1:72 Zombies I'm working on are conversions of Ceaser Minatures Partisans pack.  Ceaser also does an Undead pack, pretty much just Skeletons.  In addition to the Zombies I'm building a SS Deaths Head unit, with head swaps from the Undead pack.

I'll see about painting and snapping a few pics.  Currently I'm bogged down with Schoolwork and my 1:72 Pulp Egypt project.

Here's the pre-Zombified Partisans.

TQD did a pack of 20mm German zombies, I think.

For 1/72 buildings, Italeri and Pegasus make some.   Also, you may want to look into HO scale model railroad buildings.  Technically, they will be undersized (1/87 scale) but you could probably modify things like windows and doors to disguise the scale difference.  Heljan and Faller are a couple of companies that make buildings that would be appropriate for Western Europe.  THey are based in Europe, but they seem to be available in the US, also.

Take a look at HO/OO railroad stuff. Nominally 1/76, but very useful for 1/72.

Search for

Heljan (Danish  :D )
Heller
.... or just search for HO/OO scale stuff

EDIT: I should learn to read an entire thread, before responding...  :?
