I wish them luck!
Flying Monkey Warband?

Anyway, just some words about their first kickstarter, All Quiet on the Martian Front, for which I dumped a bunch of money into:
Above all, the quality of their miniatures was very good in general (they had some problems with resin products which I believe they have solved), and I was quite happy with the stuff that I have received so far. Indeed, from what I can tell, the kickstarter was sooo successful that they screwed themselves on postage costs which delayed production and caused delays in getting the stuff out to the backers. At this point we are waiting for Phase 3 which we are told is imminent and Phase 4 (the really big stuff) which won't be coming out until 2016.
The backers also saw stuff meant for them, released first in retail. This, from what I can tell, has happened to a number of kickstarters now and appears to be a way of financing the cost of the kickstarter, which was obviously underestimated by the manufacturer.
Now this post is not meant to put folks off of Alien Dungeon's fantasy kickstarter, but a reminder to folks that when you get involved with a small company ... shit happens.
So if you like the stuff, go for it, but do so knowing that problems can arise especially on delivery dates. This does not apply just to Alien Dungeon.
In fact, as I said before, I wish them Good Luck and if you participate you WILL be helping a small company in a very difficult market... miniatures manufacturing.
