Actually they are HO scale but the bigger ones are nearly 1/48 or O Scale.  Busch 1201 is the code.  Link here:

The pumpkins are train scenery in O scale from Busch.  There are number of pumpkins in different sizes (some downright fiddly) and some separate foliage.  Thrown together in a random manner with some cross rail fences placed around them and it serves its purpose.

It got its first outing yesterday and I have to say looked quite good. Hopefully I will more to show you soon.

So good in fact I had to order a pack of pumpkins as soon as I got home.  ;) ;D

Lovely thread and nice work on the pumpkin patch. Thinking it's time for the inner wargaming butterfly in me to look at FIW...

This project is slowly coming along.  Here is the next batch of figures - some female settlers left behind to defend the cabins, whilst their menfolk man the blockhouse.

The menfolk will follow shortly.

Love that you've added in the ladies - and it seems your largest figure grouping so far (?).

Now, about the Three Sisters: corn, pumpkins, and beans all growing together.  If you want to do a crop field for the natives, have the pumpkins growing under the corn and with beans entwining up the corn stalks - that's how it was done.

And it is often forgotten that there were indians by this time living in 'proper' houses, as in like their European neighbors - they weren't all living in the stone age any more.  Not too many yet, but some.  Many, many more by the time of the American Revolution.

Nice project - and one of my favorite periods.

Thanks.  They are from various packs of Redoubt figures.

I have a field or two of corn still to make so adding pumpkins to these will be easy.  The beans less so given the scale.

Nice work, Gary.
This project is certainly coming along really well and looks great!
 :-* :-*

Now, about those unarmed ladies: Any reason why they would not work in an Old West town?
 ??? ???

Thanks.  I think the ladies will work very well in an Old West Town.  Some poses are better than others and I have to say the casting can be a bit iffy but with some work they will clean up nicely.
