Roman Auxiliary Infantry, 3rd Cohort
« on: October 19, 2015, 11:47:12 AM »
Hi all,
My son Tom flew out to Australia yesterday for his gap year, but finished off these chaps before he went.

This unit makes a fine addition to the collection and I will have to pick up the work to get the rest of the collection finished starting early next year.

Oh they look good. That casualty base makes a nice little diorama. Thanks for sharing

Very nice addition to your Roman army. Well done by your son! Hope he has a great time while he is in Australia.

Cheers,

Nicely done. That NCO's tattooed arm is a particularly cool touch.

Thanks chaps, I was really impressed with the work he did on this unit.
We had talked about doing a tattooed auxiliary character so Tom came up with this idea and then added in the casualty for extra effect.
I'm going to have to up my game to maintain the standard!!
