cheers

 :D

I'm at the same stage on 12 (I think... It's a bit of a blur) of the Inn Crew and nearly all of the 24 Nights Watch though the Faith Militant did distract me from the 14 Cleganes!!
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

More marvellous kitbashing there Steve.

Now you have the Faith Militant, will there be a nekkid Cersei too?  :D

Only in my dreams!  :D

This crew will be doing duty in The North, bashing the heads of sinners and unbelievers.

Being fanatics/zealots, in the rules they'll be rated as swordmen (ie, best in melee) but if lose a combat will be more likely to die (as reckless and unarmoured).

I'm looking forward to pitching them against Walkers, Wildlings and Boltons, though theoretically I guess the Cleganes will be believers.....

If you say so :)

After some of the debates about what Tre's plastic not-vikings were to be made of - yup!

IMO and AFAIK, IIRC the people who talk about GW and WG and WIPs of WotR/HYW OL, it might have something to do with BB abbreviations too. 'HIPS' has fewer letters than 'styrene'. But YMMV. :D
And now I've gone too far OT...

Nice kitbashing, SI. Quite a variety of characters.

You're a funny lot  lol

Anyways, on with my GTN (that's Games of The North) project....

I've finished the first stage of adding capes to the 24 X The Night's Watch. These are kitchen paper tacked in place with superglue or plastic glue, which - as before - will be hardened with superglue and then trimmed and covered with greenstuff.

Looking at TV stills some of TNW have cloth cloaks but all mine will have theirs in short fur (hairy on the outside). In part, this is to distinguish them from the Boltons, who have quite similar clothing and equipment. Helmets were something of a conundrum as from TV footage very few seem to wear them, though there was the odd glimpse of a Norman-type conical helmet or maybe a bascinet. As the Boltons have bascinets, TNW have been given the Norman helmets, about half with nasal guards.

The actual unit comprises

1 X Leader
1 X Horn
4 X swords
3 X bows
3 X crossbows
12 X spears

OOh what a collection Steve, they all vary nicely with no seeming repeated poses, very nice.  8)

Thanks Matt  :)

I'll show some 'proper' pictures once the GS is done. With this project (as with Jamestown) I want every mini to be different, which given that they'll mostly be in 'uniformed' factions really comes down to the posing.

As this group is The Night's Watch I wanted them to be a bit more of a motley collection of humans so for the first time used six of the HYW archer bodies, who come out a tad taller than the metals. I also made the leader mini a bit shorter than the rest of the group. I did have to use many of the same heads but once I've added beards etc that won't stand-out notice.
