Looking great Steve.

I'm contemplating selling my Wars of the Roses and Winter Wreaks Wild collections.

DO NOT DO THAT.

Just buy a second cabinet ;)

Yep, don't sell them Steve. We haven't had enough games with them yet. ;)  :D

Points noted Gentlemen.  :D

I think I might thin down the WWW as in essence it's just a bit further north than this project. Some I might be able to recycle and rebase into another faction for GoT (and yes Richard, when I started WWW I do recall you noting that I could instead just be doing GoT!). Mind you I still can't think of what other GoT functions to do!!!

Anyways, I have a lot if GSing and painting to go before I start more factions.  ;)
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Just buy a second cabinet ;)

The most sensible and easiest solution.  :D

Read the books, and you will find plenty more ;)

By the way, I just realised that in your GoT world you've got the White Walkers / Others south of the wall! Has the Wall fallen perhaps?

lol Another cabinet! But that way leads the lead horde and I am resolved not to acquire/collect/keep for the sake of it.  ;)

Read the books!?!?! A shocking suggestion: I am firmly wedded to the 'cinematic' TV experience.  ;) :D

Yep, I have White Walkers/Wights. My take isn't so much that the wall has fallen but that it doesn't really present much of an obstacle to the undead. I also am playing the angle that winter follows them (they are 'winter'). Perhaps a contradiction to the books and TV (despite my aforementioned statement) but my project is very much not about what is happening in the books but what might be happening elsewhere at the same time.

Its your project and your imagination fueling it, have them go where you want them to  :D

You are funny  :D

As to progress.....

...... The civilians have had their greenstuff and will now join the painting queue.

The two that haven't been converted are I think by Pro Gloria and are included for completeness. The other two ladies and innkeeper are by HF and the kitchen/stable boy is of a diminutive 18thC mini of unknown manufacture (he was kindly donated by Malamute and now holds a Boothill Minis bowl of grain).

Next up are two wagoneers (the outstretched arm is to lead the mules), both of which were by Perry. To their left is the HF lute player who is accompanied by a drummer cobbled together from various Perry bits.

And finally for this update, some victims. The figure with outstretched arms is a mix of Perry and Frostgrave bits, the other two prisoners are by Perry (included for completeness) while the flayed man is I think from Mantic bits.

Am not sure if I'll be painting these next or GSing und Cleganes and Faith Militant.

Great selection Steve. Love the flayed man... (Tissue paper and superglue for his half removed skin, perhaps?  :D)

Thanks chaps  :)

Very interesting suggestion Richard.  TBH, I was thinking of just 'painting' on the texture with either the GW or Vallejo liquid putty. I think if I tried to superglue flaps of tissue skin I might well just flood the whole thing..... I shall have to give it more thought.  :D

Incidentally, I've extended my plans for the game board to include a proper stronghold - a Pele Tower having the necessary 'Northern' vibe.  This will make the board approx 8 ft by 3ft (though it can be set out as other layouts and for different genres).  The longer, narrow 'road' board will suit my planned campaign, which will be 'sort of' a subset of the GoT theme, with local reps of the various factions** endeavouring to control not the Iron Throne but the Pele Tower, which will require supplies, warbands, allies, bases, etc.  In many respects, the campaign will explore some of the ideas previously tested and played out in earlier projects such as my old FIW and Aliens projects, Scavenge Skirmish Survive, Winter Wreaks Wild and Tommy & Fritz.

** Though Wildlings will be raiding, White Walkers will be killing, Faith Militant will be converting  and Civilians will be serving ;)

At this rate you are going to end up building the whole bloody North!
 :o :o

Which I am looking forward to immensely, of course.

Well a table representative of The North clearly needs to be at least as long as a Jimbibbly!

Thanks  :D

Obviously, when a project expands keeping up the momentum can be a challenge but the advantage of this board is that so many of the tiles will be able to serve double-duty, such as 15thC England (WotR), 17thC America (Jamestown) and 18thC England (Jamaica Inn).
