The Scenario: A unit of French militia and three units of allied indians cross the lake under the cover of a dawn mist with the intention of burning a British blockhouse.
The blockhouse:

The French forces make their landing on the shores of the lake:

The indians prepare to climb the small cliff at the edge of the lake

Meanwhile a unit of British regulars are en-route to the Blockhouse

The Miliita make their way round the headland to assault the blockhouse from a second direction

The first of the indians scale the cliffs and spot the British regulars

The Regulars form a firing line as they see the indians along the cliftop

A short but decisive exchange of musketry between the indians and regulars resulted in the destruction of the British unit and the death of their officer. The indians were able to make use of the cliff top cover and sustained only a few casualties. After the firefight they moved into the small settlement and started to fire the buildings

At the same time the Militia broke cover and headed towards the blockhouse

as they started towards the final escarpment they came under fire from the Rangers in the blockhouse, and the withering fire of the British irregulars took it's toll. The remaining Militia fled for their boats

With the settlement well and truly aflame, the indians and their French officer headed toward the blockhouse

Unfortunately the Rangers, having made short work of the militia, concentrated their musketry on the approaching indians and cut them down to a man.

At this point with all the French forces either dead or paddling home for their lives, the game was declared a British victory.
