Optimus' Orctober entry..
« on: October 30, 2015, 12:01:25 PM »
Hi guys,

Here's my mob of sixteen Orks that I painted up for Orctober. And then there's a group shot of all my Space Orks too, all forty of them!

Those are wonderful. In fact, you really need to take some more shots of the individual orcs so we can see them up close. You've done too good a job to keep them so small.

Thanks Michka,

I've actually done what you've suggested (with respect to the individual shots), but I've posted them all on my blog. All the pics were taken with a too high resolution for LAF file size restriction. I stuffed around with three of them to upload them here, but I can't be bothered doing it with the rest of them  :D

I think I better start taking pics in lower res. After all, I ain't shooting for Time magazine am l?  lol

Anyway, I'm glad you liked them, I'm happy I've got a sizable force of baddie's now.

Cheers.

Lovely paintwork on some fantastic sculpts. Probably the best space orcs ever sculpted.

Thanks  :)

I reckon their the best Orks too, heaps of character & very individual....not like the massed horde they became :(

With the weathering I usually just keep adding layers of different colours. Keep building up the effect and fixing errors along the way. The good thing about weathering if that it looks better the messier it is :)

Cheers
