Here are Mid-size buildings where colonists can throw plasma grenades and fire lasers down upon the invaders. Thank you everyone for your kind comments/postings several weeks earlier!

Love this thread - if I had the cash I'd love to commission a whole range of 15mm pulp sci fi, like the Bombshell minis stuff. The colour you achieve is great fun, really reminds me of the old pulp science fi novel covers.

I agree.
Whilst the buildings themselves are all great it is the little 'extra' touches that really bring this project to life.

It never fails, about once a week I stumble upon a thread I've not yet seen here on LAF, which completely drops my jaw in amazement....

This week, it's Planetoid 51!!!  :o :o :o

The style is just fantastic, the details are what make it so incredible.

However, the sheer size of the buildings is impressive.  Your buildings dominate the setup, but add an air of scale and dimension that's rarely seen on a gaming table.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful.

Recently Microarts studios produced some beautiful terrain for the game Infinity via kickstarter. They are modelled for an urban setting and included a set of bus and bus shelters. I was inspired to make some in a retro space theme.
Mass transport on Planetoid 51 is greatly serviced by robotic buses. Citizens are reluctant to put themselves in such a vulnerable situation but have no other choice. Flying cars are supplied only in small numbers with each scheduled off world shipment. Thankfully the daily drudgery of commuting to work cause feelings of trepidation to be quickly replaced by numbing apathy.
