(COMMERCIAL) Victory Force Miniatures still operating?
« on: November 09, 2015, 09:32:51 PM »
I made an order to Victory Force Miniatures about a month ago, I payed via PayPal and received an automated email saying VFM had got my payment. I haven't got any other correspondence from them in regards to my order. So I was wondering if they are still trading?
Many Thanks

Not sure - last blog post is from 3 July 2015, and in April they were trying to sell the business.

Can't find the last time they annouced something on TMP, etc.

Owner was trying to sell the business (at a ridiculous price) last year. But was acting like a real dick about it. Refusing to answer any questions or provide any information without having been paid $5000 in advance and even then refusing to discuss the history and financial status of the business.

Gives the impression that he was selling well used moulds and machines from a failing business at pretty much new prices and did not want to open up the books to financial scrutiny or discuss the true value of the equipment.

Website, FB page and Blog have not been updated for ages.

That's not good at all. I think I may have recommended Victory Force to some people in various "looking for XYZ type figures" threads in recent months. Hope I didn't lead anyone into losing money.

VFM also had figures I wanted. Among other things they had some fairly generic-looking humanoid droids that didn't look like Terminators (which are rather thin on the ground otherwise), Star Trek style crewmembers that would have made decent generic sci-fi civilians, and The Warriors from the film with the same name.

Yeah, it was because of the Star Trek figures that I remembered what was happening. Some great figures amongst their range (but an awful lot of dross too).

Their Starship crews and the Space Vixens Rim Aliens are a perfect match for a self contained little skirmish game.

that's to bad they had some unique miniatures :(
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Good to hear they are still operating.

(I have amended my post above so as not to confuse the issue)

Hi,

I've already recived the miniatures from Victory Force, for International orders (Europa) is about 4 weeks for delivery.

Excellent WWII figures, a little bit bigger than other manufacturers, but, maybe the best what I've seen in 28mm

Yes, Victory Force Miniatures, is still operating!

Thanks
