New Haunted House lasercut
« on: 12 November 2015, 08:47:26 AM »
Just saw this today, thought it might be of interest to peeps on this board: http://ttfix.blogspot.co.uk/2015/11/customeeple-new-malifaux-terrain.html

A bit pricey for the whole set maybe, but pretty cool!

Wonder if it's owned by a boy called Norman  ;)

It is nice... however you're right in saying it's a little expensive (about €70) for an unpainted MDF kit - though it's a decent size.

I think it comes prepainted. All the Malifaux scenery from plastcraft comes prepainted, so this shouldn't be an exception.

It seems nice to me, with the usual discount of local games store should be 60€ or less.

Now I have to find a good scenery to play with it.

Sadly, according to Customeeples own site, "This product is sold unassembled and unpainted" - stated in the orange box at the bottom of its entry on their site. That's not to say it's not a nice model, as are the Plastcraft ones.

Yup, you're right. I thought it was from the same maker of other Malifaux scenery (plastcraft) that comes painted. In that case is a bit expensive, yep :?

I would hope they've tweaked their laser settings. My group got a bunch of stuff from different lasercut terrain vendors when we ventured into Infinity, and Customeeple was the only one we had troubles with as far as stuff not being sufficiently cut. The silhouette tokens were great, but a bunch of stuff shipped in sheet broke in prep, and these guys weren't hamhanded novices.
