  • As my grandchildren see me...
Desperado seeking company, and himself
« on: 19 November 2015, 12:26:32 AM »
Backed a Kickstarter of an acquaintance/friend of Craig's, got a bit crazy and paid for the pleasure of naming a character after my grandson. He, the character, we'll see about the grandson, has the personality to play well in IHMN, but I never got the hand of generation, especially with a one-handed galloot.

That, and, until recently, between work and caregiving, about all the gaming I have time for is to post comments. Hoping to change that.

So, I come asking for guidance.

First, his image.

Then, the beginnings of a description:

"Sidney found himself regularly in trouble due to his impulsiveness. He'd get a wild idea, and was off and running. 'Yeah, that mine shaft looks perfectly safe; I'll go check it out.'

He was constantly asked 'Are you serious, Sid?' Finally, one day, he yelled 'Yes I'm Serious Sid,' and pistol-whipped the inquistor. Having settled the issue, that's how he was known. Only, never to his face..."

Still working on the yarn of his auto-lasso and the mad sawbones that gave it to him. [After waking following the incidence of the mine collapse, Sid was offered a prosthetic.] 'Will it hurt much and will it work?' 'Unending pain for weeks, but should hit faster than a gun draws.' 'Okay, I'll give it a try.'

Suggestions for him, his particular 'talents', and those weird 'vehicles'? How about a group of ne'er-do-wells to join with? Extra points for the Mad Doc, of course. ;->=
