Agreed - the blue looks very vibrant, and their faces look very grim and determined!  :D

I'd be tempted to do a little more on the bases though, as their legs sort of blend into it a bit at the moment... Some grass tufts maybe?

Look forward to seeing the others. :)

Sorry, I didn't mean it like that - there's no need to go and buy fancy bases either! :(

I think the texture is too "big" for the drybrush - some patches of finer texture paste (or glue and fine sand) would add a smaller texture to pick up the drybrushing more evenly. Some grass tufts or static grass would also add a bit of variety to them and finish them really well. Finally, I think a colour other than grey would also help to separate the base from the boots.

The bases you have a good start, but as I said, they just need a little bit more I think.

I absolutely love these models. Your painting style lends them an almost cel-shaded look that really pops. Great work!

The blues are difinately nice, but the faces are really great - you've given them all lots of character.

Great work. Very intriguing highlighting on the upper legs of the female figure.

Ohh!......they're nice! 8)

We really do need the recipe for that blue. It's great. Especially on the big guy.

What about just Green Stuffing the bases? Just do a thin layer and draw some lines in it, to look like concrete.
