Some Indian Villagers in 25mm

[War In 15MM]

I'm happy to see some of this Old Glory 25s Indian Villagers painted.  I bought them for use with my mountain men (Foundry) collection (a future project).  When I did my 15mm/18mm FIW collection I wanted a large variety of Indian villagers for my Indian town so I combined the Blue Moon 15mm/18mm Woodland Villagers and their Plains Indians villagers to give me more poses... the modifications needed to make it work were not difficult.  I've really enjoyed your work on these, and I look forward to seeing more as your painting continues.  Richard

Very nice.  What did you use to make the bear skins?  (tied with pliable tree trunks, though!  )  I always like my games to be set "in the world" rather than just a 'sterile' battle field.  And that means civilians.  And, for me, critters (sure, they'd run at the sound of gunfire - but they make for fun to see games and allow for memorable side bar comments.  Like the ACW game where a couple players spent their 'down' time engaging in cow tipping!)

Old glory are interesting but sold by 30 figs a bag that too much for my skirmishe needs..

What did you use to make the bear skins?  (tied with pliable tree trunks, though!  )

The skin is simply a nice material I found at the local craft store. I used a leather cord to tie it to the wooden craft stick frame. I agree the cord was way too big for the scale. Skin stretchers like that were a common sight in Indian towns and villages.

Thanks for the kind comments, everyone. Eric...those 30-figure bags...I know! Put it on the Christmas list for family and friends to get you. That way you don't mind the extra money spent for the handful of figures you'll need....ha, ha!

Nice painting on your villagers.
The OG figures paint up pretty nice.
I purchased a bag a number of years ago.
Now need to paint some of them.

i know Mike but the postage per OG bag are expensive from UK to France.....
i have so many figurines in stock since 36 yers of gaming  
and so many non use OG stil in my mountain of extra lead  
Sometime i buy a bag of 30 figs with some friends and we split it between us. And then that become very intersting to get from OG

Ok Rui but at the moment i think i have the good numbers of civilians but may be.....

We are never too short with civilians. We need plenty of them for slaughter and captives business ! 
But i speaking like a huron warrior
