Near the Border - Germany 1945

April 1945 - Somewhere along the German border, a US platoon sent forward to secure a ruined hamlet between the frontlines, runs into a reinforced German patrol with the same objective...

this is amazing! There have been incredible boards here in the WW2 section lately and yours is definitely amongst them! This is a huge inspiration!

Fantastic set of photos, nice angles and beautiful buildings and rubble. Its so refreshing to see such realism, in the 30s and 40s people were poor, and the houses were dusty and faded, weathered and worn, there wasn't B&Q down the road! Your buildings really capture this authentic feel, fantastic work.

The figures are a variety of makes, mainly AB Figures and Battlefield/Blitz with a few Wartime and Kellys Heroes.

The houses are card and paper models custom made by a chum of mine.

Great pictures, with a real set piece locale! As always, the miniatures make the match and they really do it!
