Gawd, these are lovely. I was impressed by your terrain for a second there too, until I realised it wasn't ;)

Thanks, all -! As I mentioned earlier in the thread, these are mostly paint-in-progress so expect to see some updates over time, that will help keep me on task. Some of you out there will understand I think when I say that 85% of my projects are (perpetually) 85% completed, sometimes it takes a deadline for me to get something over the line.

Well the skis seem to be a big hit. I've done several other ski-equipped figures, also a thug on snowshoes. I'll find time to post everything I hope.

@Harry- I made the skis by cutting a rectangle of plastic from my bitz box (a hatch cover I think of from a 1/35th scale tank kit -?) into strips and then carefully heating and bending the strips over a cigarette lighter, and then trimming the tip of the ski into shape. No lamination skills necessary!
@von Lucky- Thanks, and I will post some pictures of my terrain in time and hopefully you'll like those, but there's no substitution for the real thing. We've had heavy frost here in the mornings and most of these were taken on the hood of my truck.

So another skiing figure, this time a Ranger. He doesn't have a name yet because he hasn't made it into the warband. He's loitering somewhere near a small fire in a clearing, checking his rabbit snares in the morning and skiing into town at night to trade the pelts for mead and look for work.
