I'm saving up already for the 299/399 add-on pledges, depending on what those last two black boxes will become I'll take the 299$ add-on + the artbook or the 399$ ( and maybe a second Titan set, just because they rock big time ). Guess the Pledge Manager will take them at least 2 to 3 months, so we'll have time enough to scrape all those pennies from the kitchen drawers and sofa cussions  :D.

Maybe you can sell the Art book and the RPG book to get $60 back or something.

I finally backed it, and now Im really excited...the basic pledge is amazing, but also those all ins. I mean you get so many mins that are usable for many other games (Ive already looked for my Crocodile Games Spartans yesterday evening!) that these might be worth the pledge alone.

And then there is pure awesomeness with minis like the phoenix or atlas. wow! I hope this works out fine for all of us.

The miniatures will work well in Wargods of Olympus when it comes out.The monsters will be very handy.

I hope they decide to be nice and throw in the Python...I  was confident it would get unlocked!

They threw in the Python and the Pandora's box (it's a box and plastic trays to hold the stretch goal stuff from the God pledge. Basically it's the Conan King Pledge Box with nicer art.)

Yes, and the Python is very usable for all kinds of fantasy games, e.g. Conan, Warhammer etc.

And it seems they will go with Nordic Mythology for their next kickstarter....possilbly a very wise choice from the monetary p.o.v.

Excellent  :D
I was after models to use as Naga in Hindu Mythology. Python and the other dragons will work well.

Well...After Conan I swore I would refrain for a while from these massive Kickstarters.

Then, as the value of the Gods Pledge became too hard to ignore, I caved and joined this one.

So, again, I was about to swear Kickstarter off again...

But, Nordic Mythology?  I may as well sign up now.... ;D

What he said. Pledged on the last day. Mostly for the gods and heroes and monsters, the troopers are single pose which is too boardgamey for me as a mini collector, but at less than a dollar a figure some of those giant figures are an absolute steal. I went on for the terrain pack too, love a few twisted trees.

And then the icing on the cake - the hint of a Norse sequel. Roll on xmas 2017.  :D

It really opens up scope for a whole range of Mythological expansions doesn't it?

I hope so. Chinese, Japanese, Aztek, Egypt and/or Celtic Mythology  for starters would make me a very happy man the coming years  lol.

Well, this was a pretty awesome Kickstarter and I must admit I had the pledge manager open with just one click needed to buy the basic game as I watched the final hour stream. It was all pretty wild with what? over 2,000 folks watching the stream and just at the last minute as folks were counting down the seconds and pledges still rolling in, the stream overheated and cut.  lol

But... in the end, I didn't pledge. I just couldn't help thinking to myself that this was just too good to be true and was undercutting all the folks I support in the US, UK and Europe.

Anybody notice that CMON Ltd just went public on the HONG KONG Stock Exchange the other day?

Sorry, but there are too many companies I have supported almost my entire life here at home and don't want to see them go out of business.

Having said that, congrats to all those folks who cashed in on this KS. If nothing else, it's nice to see so many folks get so excited about Greek Mythology.

A pledge of 99 dollars means you are undercutting manufacturers back home and in Europe? Wow! Did you see the artist list Monolith used for this one and for Conan?  o_o
About CMON, I hear many folks complaining that they use Kickstarter simply as a platform to launch their games. Does it really matter if they don't need the fundings anymore ( if truly so ) ? The retail price of their stuff is priced too high for my liking, so I wouldn't buy them, not even at internet discounters with 20% off. The extra KS freebees and add-ons make it worthwhile in my book ( and we as investors deserve that extyra, since there's always the risk involved we don't get anything... ), so yes, the choice over here is simple, if the product is good enough I'll back and if the manufacturers grow big and wealthy, that;s a good thing. Less risk for us backers and more great games to the gaming community to play ( let alone more money to invest in the manufacturing industry, so it will become cheaper for smaller designers to improve their quality, since the also benefit from the investments in model design and production done by the big players ), a win-win in my book...
But, having said all of that, you cannot put a price on principles  ;).
