Prelude to Leipzig - An 1813 Scenario and AAR

Hi everyone,

It's been a while, about 16 years since I last played Napoleonics, it was my first love. We have just finished our first game of Napoleonics reloaded!

It's quite a long post as I've gone all dewy eyed about my gaming past and why I have been absent from Naps for so long. Underneath my reminiscences there is my usual map, orbats, set up and AAR.

Regards Ken

Bonjour Ken,

Thanks for the excellent write-up.

Marvellous figures and even using the best rules - GDB of course.

I agree that it's no big deal getting some conversion tables done so that 1:33 will do and I'd encourage other 1:33 folk to do the same.

I, on the other hand, am a true dinosaur so it's 28mm figures and 1:20 for me, which is of course what is only correct and proper. Only kidding!

Cheers,

Paul

Ken,

Enjoyed reading the post and reminiscing about the old days. Sean and Carl have my Russians now. Not done Napoleonics since the 90s. Think I would try Black Powder if I started again.

I have a few pictures of that Leipzig game I can email you. I am sure you haven't changed a bit  lol

Cheers,

Pete
