A little Black Ops game
« on: 04 February 2016, 02:12:36 AM »
Some pictures of a recent game I ran for friends.

Full details on my blog of the scenario etc. https://spprojectblog.wordpress.com/2016/02/04/black-ops-game-report/

Figures used were a mix of Under Fire for the Taliban/ fanatics, and Vepa, Elhiem and Liberation for the SOF types.

Cheers,

Pete.

That's a cool looking game.

As for questions, ask away. I'm working on an FAQ.

Ok...

Jack comes up and the Soldier on the hill with the suppressed DMR fires at a Taliban guard and misses. How many noise counters go down? We said none at the point of firing but one where the guard is as the bullet whizzes past and pings off something.

Next card is the Ace and and NCo with Silenced PDW fires at the same guard and hits him. Does the mody slumping to the ground and dropping his weapon generate a noise counter too? There were no other guards in line of sight of him to see him go down.

Thanks for the questions.

Noise serves two functions - for raising the alarm and for spotting models. A suppressed DMR will still make a very loud 'crack' as the bullet is travelling faster than the speed of sound. Your suggestion about sticking it next to the guard is a good one.

No noise. However there's now a body on the floor which can be spotted.
