Armies Army Insurgents
« on: 09 February 2016, 06:23:20 PM »
I received a couple platoons worth of the insurgent infantry figs and I have to say I am impressed!  The sculpting quality and casting is excellent with a nice selection of poses.  (The poses are active and realistic, no off-balance running or gymnastic craziness.)  They all wear a balaclava type "ski mask" except for the leader who is heroically bare headed (or doesn't care if he is identified).  The heavy weapon is tripod mounted and nicely cast.

Although marketed as sci fi troops, these would work well for near future or contemporary periods as their kit is a hooded coat and light web gear.

The platoon set comes with enough figs for 3 10-man squads, a heavy weapon and command.  Each squad includes RPG type launchers and SAW support.

Keith is easy to work with and responded quickly to enquiries.  If his Cold War figs are as nice, they will be a treat.

Yep - got a couple of squads in the queue at the moment, lovely figs. the more I paint 15mm the more I want them to 'read' well, I'm not looking for shrunk down 28mm level detail, it gets cluttered, I'm looking for concise detail - these really hit the mark on that front.
