Thanks for looking in gents :)

And some projects ..........

A Perry Desert commission destined to be mated with Richards superb figures, so I better do a decent job on the vehicles ;)

Some 20mm progress .....

And a teaser for our Modern Battlegroup project to go with the new Modern rules we're working on with Empress, I'll probably start a separate wip topic in the "moderns" section for this ....

A mini project cleaned off the wip bench, a couple of Warlord SAS Jeeps. No detailing or faffing about with these, just build n paint. Working on cleaning up a bunch of other projects in the near future too .....

cheers
Brent

Very nice work. What I like about the SAS jeeps is that they never went, "we've got enough MGs on this one" it was always, "I'm sure another MG could gfit in over there!"

Thanks gents :)  I think my first 1/35th kit as a kid was the awesome Tamiya SAS jeep and I've always had a thing for them ever since. As Fred mentioned I think it's the gun overload .... the only thing missing is a trailer with a guy and Bren gun in it.

Finally back to the bench after an extended period away writing rules ...

Rubicon SdKfz250 as part of a DAK/8th Army project,, really nice bit of kit and hopefully more will cross the bench one day. So tried something new on this one, trying for a "hairspray" chipping method look but using my trusty brushes. It was all pretty quick and easy tbh, not a good as true hairspray chipping but close enough for gov't work and should look ok when it's done.

Todays progress. Fitted the top, moved the headlights and painted tools, tracks and roadwheels. Did a little blending, shading and spot filtering to tie things together ..... that's all on this guy for a while until some of the other DAK stuff is done.

Thanks gents  :)

And hi to you guys looking in for the first time, thanks for taking the time to comment. As I mentioned above the thread hasn't been updated for a while as I've been head down writing rules. Got them to the next stage of testing and all the core work done on them now so I've been finally able to get back to my bench. I've got a few projects that are late, and a couple very late :(  , so I'm in catch up mode .....

cheers
Brent
