It would be nice to see one of the cast up examples if they have run any so far.  Sizing comparisons too.

Latest update on the KS page has a comparison picture with other figures:

The Kraken figure looks great, size and proportions are spot on.

Pictures now posted of renders for the Light Artillery, Unarmoured Pikemen and Dragoon packs.
Looking really good.

Wow. Stunning figures. I might just have to do this...

The only slight drawback is the duplication / repetition of figures in the 'line' packs - 8 miniatures, but only 3 poses. We're so used to packs of 6 or 8 different figures these days, we've all been a little bit spoiled. Feels a bit old school. But I guess they could only afford so many sculpts...

Apart from that - gorgeous.

I'm pleased to see that recent new stretch goals have been added to the end of the list of packs which Tercios proposes to make. I would dearly like the Unarmoured Pikemen to be produced.  Since I signed up the Swordsmen, Light Artillery and Shield Bearers have all been added to the proposed range, but have all been put ahead of the Unarmoured Pikemen which were there when I signed up. So I've been sitting here watching this project being successful, but one pack I want getting further and further away as new packs have been put ahead of it. In my view all stretch goals added since the project started should have been added to the end of the list of stretch goals, not put into the middle.

Yes that makes no sense to me either, Arquebusier and Unarmoured Pikes are the most numerous men in a Tercio, with Armoured Pikes and then Musketeers making up the rest. To put your most numerous troop type at the end of the rainbow is odd to say the least.

My only negative comment on the proposed range so far is the relative lack of sculpting variants amoungst the core figures, pikes, arqubus and muskets ideally should have more variants.  That probably won't stop me from subscribing.

Lovely new draft horse/limber and gabion set as a stretch goal at €16k.
May be a bit out of reach given the way the campaign has slowed down, but still hoping.
Useful for ECW and later periods as well.

Although I am only backing the project to the extent of 4 packs for skirmish gaming (Gloire and Witchfinder General), I picked up a copy of the rulebook and first expansion last week to try with my 6mm ECW. They read very well, some nice ideas with the orders and well presented.
I am really interested to see how the develop for the earlier Italian Wars era.
Meanwhile I am very taken with the idea of building some Tercio formation bases with H&R 6mm figures.

Last 4 days of the campaign now.

New "mixed" figure pack for skirmish games can be picked as an option (not  a stretch goal as the figures contained are available already):

Also released a picture of an actual test casting:

Well on the pictures of the figures I have pledged.  I have dithered because I wanted to make sure they will fit in with the rest of my figures and pretty certain they will.  All the best.

[COMMERCIAL] Tercios Miniatures Kickstarter last 24 hours
« Reply #26 on: 05 April 2016, 10:10:20 AM »
This campaign is entering its final 24 hours and has exploded in the last couple of days. All the existing stretch goals have been reached and now new poses are being added to each of the troop packs for more variety.

Last chance to get in on the project as Kraken have said there will be no options for "extra pledges" once the campaign ends.

They look very tempting and I'm really considering to jump in. Pity they didn't create any comparison pics to Horcata/TAG/Bicorne as I would love to have some of them for TYW. And according to the pics they are rather on the smaller side being equal to Perry's, right?

I, for one, am hoping that their figures will be compatible with Perry/ TAG/ Bohemian Troops. I am, however, not certain that this will be true - their comparison pictures are quite small. I have therefore gone into this quite modestly, hoping (i)  that I will be able to buy more packs at some stage should their figures be compatible and (ii) that I will always be able to unload my packs on Ebay should the figures not be compatible.

Certainly looks that way from the pictures available; a perfect match size & proportion for the Perry/Warlord ranges. So probably going to be slightly bigger but same proportions as Foundry and about same size but less heroic proportions than the TAG/Bicorne ranges.
