Over the last couple of years I've mentioned
Knights' Quest a few times; the game I've written as a sort of high-medieval fantasy missing link between Heroquest and D&D. I play it with my two sons (8 and near-as-dammit 6) from time to time and, after more recent diversions into Dragon Rampant, we grabbed our polyhedral dice and dungeon tiles for an afternoon' questing fun!
The story picks up straight after our last adventure; an enchanted chalice must be retrieved to administer a healing draught to a comrade near death from injury...

on my blog, along with some pictures of equally dubious lighting containing some classic 80s citadel sculpts alongside more recent work with the same aesthetic.
