Nice summation of reviews.
I was kind of considering this based on the very nice genestealer minis, but I don't care about the game or the marines.  Even if I did, $165 is ridiculous.

If you use eBay, you could probably make a nice chunk of that back by selling on all the bits you don't want.

I'm not a huge fan of the reviewers there as they're pretty much from clickbait site. Some positive comments on Bolter and Chainsword but I'll wait until I see and play it myself. I got my bits site genestealer cult horde this morning and they are lovely.

Other than the fact that the game is too expensive, the only substantive comment on the rules I saw here was from BOLS, which is the review that you say shouldn't be trusted as they are biased.  Given your title I presumed that there would be some critical aspects of game play, which is what I'd be interested in.

Yup. Soon as I saw it was BOLS I turned off. You could serve those guys up a cowpat on a plate, with a GW logo on it (or worse: Dreadfleet) and they'd give it 5/5.

Although, if youse guys can't find a decent online discounter, there's something wrong.
