These two are on their way to me, and will be part of an upcoming Kickstarter to launch Barbaric Splendor Miniatures properly I hope! Both are sculpted by Leandro Ventic - the one on the left is a conversion of an existing miniature and will be a standard choice in the campaign. The other is based on art by Ariel Olivetti, who has given his blessing to it as long as its not sold - so it will be a free miniature for all backers who pledge for 3 miniatures or more. I should have some more pictures of the other miniatures to show soon!

I decided to show the rest of the sculpts, at least the WIP shots to give an idea of the rest.

I acquired the rights to use this amazing work from Nicolas Bournay; it is currently being sculpted by David Soderquist!

Also acquired rights to use this Barbarian Lord by Quinn Simoes; it is being sculpted by Anakron Workshop!

Final new sculpt for the Kickstarter (unless stretch goals are required) is a massively muscled barbarian who will serve as the "mascot" for Barbaric Splendor – Aeyron the Primeval. Yes he is over the top but that is the point, his build is based off a current pro bodybuilder. He will have a ram skull helm and belt and a double bladed axe. This is the current progress picture – he is being sculpted by Dark Saint Miniatures.

And finally, the original 2 sculpts for Barbaric Splendor will be included:

Last update for a bit, but....another update for the upcoming Barbaric Splendor 1 (Personalities) Kickstarter - Barbarian Lord, art by The Art of Quinn Simoes, sculpting by the mighty Anakron Workshop - horns not final and axe still to come but nearly there! Very close to having all sculpts, then it will be a matter of planning for a couple of possible stretch goals to be in place if needed (a shaman and a steppes/hun barbarian archer) as well as the logistics of the campaign.

While I am sure those would make a lot of people happy, I doubt I could get away with those two, it would be pretty obvious who they were. Now, a Hyrkanian/Hun type archer would be easier and is in the plans. But I will keep this idea in mind if it can be done.
