Best finish for acrylics?
« on: March 06, 2016, 04:32:31 PM »
Looking for recommendations on best finish to put on figures painted with acrylics.  Would use varnish except I took the easy way out with face painting and used flesh wash.  Varnish would make the faces way too dark I think.
I appreciate any input and ideas.
Thanks

A decent model varnish shouldn't darken the finish noticeably - I've use Vallejo's varnishes for a while with no problems, the matt is very flat & they shouldn't change the tones in your paintwork.
