Very nice painting.
If I was not so heavy into the Indian Mutiny,
I would really get into this period.

They're very nice but out of personal curiosity, why the loose order basing ? Sikh regulars had been mostly trained by French veterans of the Napoleonic wars and fought in close order formations.

They are for wargaming against the British and Sepoy mutineers, they are based the same size in the Indian Mutiny, can't afford to put so many on a base, anyway thanks guys for the comments. :)

Very nice!

What did you use for the Sikhs' skin tone?  I keep trying different mixes and haven't been happy with anything yet.

These are lovely figures and in a frequently overlooked but fascinating period, but I have to say the commercially available flags are incorrect  :(.

I'd echo Arthur's comments, The Khalsa Raaj fought as regular line regiments trained in Napoleonic drill and tactics, though I see they are multi-purpose bases - fair dos. I have the same problem in 15mm with British Napoleonic light companies detached for service as a light division on expeditions. Do I base them as light infantry or line?
The Tricoleur flag b.t.w. denotes that the regiment was part of the Fauj-i-Khas or 'Royal brigade'.

Skin tones i used pink touch dark brown, then highlighted with the pink, i always use a sewing needle to touch the nose, cheeks and forehead and chin.

Thanks guys
