Malemutes Matelots update 23/03/16
« on: 14 March 2016, 06:39:24 PM »
Ok start humming the tune to Captain Pugwash in your head (if you don't know what I'm on about that's what Google is for).
Yes it's time for adventure on the high seas with such characters as Seaman Staines, Roger the Cabin Boy and Master Bates lol.
Anyway Innuendo aside (in your endo, stop it now), here is the first half of a unit of His Majesty's finest that I painted for Mr Malemute.
Galloping Major figures all, and an absolute joy to paint. Hes going to do the basing but i still thought it worth showing these figures to you before completion as they are lovely casts.
Anyway hope you like them, i have to go now as its my turn in the barrel and the boys don't like to be kept waiting :o
Diddly dum Diddly dum tee dum dee dum dee dum.........You know how it goes lol.

So chuffed :D :D :D

I think the Captain is my favourite, but they are all so full of character, it's hard to choose. ;D

If anyone is interested these will be making an appearance at Salute on the Oshiro Models demo game "The adventures of Paul Dark." A game treachery, debauchery and intrigue in C18th Dorset. :)

Come and say hello if you are there. ;)

Thanks chaps, there's another 12 crewmen to come, and perhaps Malamute will post some photos after he's based them up  :)

Nice figures and you have really done them justice. They look awesome! Do you know if they would be compatible scale wise with the Northstar "18th Century Sailors" from their On the Seven Seas range- they look very similar sculpting wise.

It would be nice to see a figure of a certain local Reverend turned smuggler.
