Amelie and the Légion Étrangère
« on: 17 March 2016, 12:04:14 PM »
I was thinking of building the Légion Étrangère Company from the IHMN rule book, as Professor Moebius' serums look like quite a cool unique ability. There are a number of "mad scientist" figures that could serve as Professor Moebius, and I seem pretty spoiled for choice with the Legionnaires. What I am finding harder to do is find a figure for Amelie, Moebius' half-African daughter. I haven't seen anything that quite grabs me yet, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? Thanks.

There are some Wild West females or you could ask Annie from Bad Squiddo Games?

Captain Zeng, I think the figure that you want is the second figure from the right in the Wargames Foundry, Darkest Africa, Explorers, "Roses of the Empire" DA018 pack. I believe that she's meant to be Ms. Baker, wife of the explorer Baker on the far right in the "Men of Substance" DA011 pack. But she's already dressed to be with the legion, wearing a nice kepi. She's in the 4th pack down on this page:

The other figures in the pack would be useful as other characters, or as Amelie dressed and armed differently in other situations.
Sailors have more fun!

Thanks guys.

I think the lady with the kepi might just win out, because it is such a nice tie in with the other Legionnaires. Mind you, there were a few figures from Bad Squddio Games that caught my eye for other projects in the future, so I'm grateful to both of you for your suggestions.
