Wonderful miniatures as expected from a master painter like you, Richard. I'm really looking forward to your figures with scenery in the coming rounds ... ;D

A word about that Swiss system and my setting: At the start of this league I didn't realize all the implications coming with that system, and to be honest, I didn't bother much. I just prepared my first three entries for the first three rounds more or less randomly.

The dungeon scenery I used here is not new; I used it in the last League as well. So it couldn't be THAT dominant feature as some people here like to suggest. I had pretty much fun painting the miniatures to my best standard and think that can be seen.  :)

And no, I would not support a league where scenery would be forbidden. I really like to present my figures in nice surroundings. As everybody is allowed to do.

No worries, guys, we are not going to forbid scenery, definitely not. As always said, LPL is not only about painted figures or quality of painting, or looking for a better guy/girl/painter/whatever. It's not a pure painting competition. it's about making a good show. And I like the way it works.

Well done, both of your, guys, I'm happy we have such talented competitiors in the LPL :)

I often voted against an entry with scenery, cause sometimes the terrain just ... somehow ... distract and pure minis made me concentrate on them more. However ... scenery ... no scenery ... LOVE them both. Very very very cool entries!
I decided already ... but ... hoped for a tie. ;)

@ Admiral
like to know, where the minis are from, please. The style seems familiar, but couldn't nail it. Thanks in advance.

And thanks for two crisp entries!! I think, my favorite match this round.
best wishes

The Admiral's figures are from Zombicide Black Plague. Lovely figures for 1 piece plastics, as the Admiral has demonstrated with his great entry.

As Freelancer already mentioned, these are the adventurers from the standard Zombicide: Black Plague box. The plastic miniatures don't look too impressive at first sight, but once undercoated all the little and sharp details will show. On the other hand - lots of fiddly and tiny things to paint ...
