First Annual Painting Competition

I am pleased to announce our First Official Painting Competition for Battle Valor Fantasy Miniatures.

To enter you will have to submit photographs of your finished piece(s) by no later than October 1st 2016. These can either be emailed in to ed@battlevalorgames.com, or mailed in.

Obviously you will need to take high quality pictures for judging.

We will announce the winners by no later than October 20th.

Categories

Best General- This can be either a Battle Valor Games General figure, or a General stand of your own making, but it must be mounted on a 40mm Diameter base.

Best Unit – This can be either and Infantry Unit consisting of 32 figures or a Cavalry Unit consisting of 16 figures. They must include a Command Stand, and be mounted either 4 Infantry figures or 2 Cavalry figures per 40mm square base. All miniatures must be from the Battle Valor Games Range.

Best Line Breaker Unit – This must be a 10 figure unit consisting of Line Breaker Troops. This would include Ogres, Ice Trolls, Stone Golems, Undead Ogres & Trolls, or other similar type units. If you are unsure if a unit fits in this category shoot me an email. They should be mounted individually on 25mm diameter bases. All miniatures must be from the Battle Valor Games Range.

Best Shock Troops or Monstrous Beasts Unit – This must be a unit of 3 Shock Troop Stands or 3 Monstrous Creatures. This would include Moor Beasts, Iron Golems, Giants, Mammoths, Tricericades, Juggernauts, or other similar type units. If you are unsure if a unit fits in this category shoot me an email. Monsters should be mounted individually on 40mm square bases. Monstrous creatures should be mounted on a 60mm x 40mm base. All miniatures must be from the Battle Valor Games Range.

Best Army - This must be a 1000 point Army using the points list currently available in the Battle Valor Fantasy PDF Rules available on the Battle Valor Games website. It must contain a General, and at least 6 units of your choosing. All miniatures must be from the Battle Valor Games Range, and must be based according to the Battle Valor Fantasy Rules Set.

Best Diorama – This can be a diorama of anything you like, but must include only Battle Valor Fantasy Miniatures. The base must be no smaller than 6 inches in Diameter/Square, but can be as large as 8 inches in Diameter/Square.

Best Battle Scene – This can depict whatever you like in terms of scenery etc, but must include at least 200 Battle Valor Games Fantasy Miniatures. The base must be either 18 inches square, or 18 inches in Diameter.

Prizes

3rd Place in each Category will receive $30 of store Credit.

2nd Place in each Category will receive $60 of store Credit.

1st Place in each Category will receive $100 of store Credit and a Trophy.

Best Overall Entry, which may be from any Category, will win the Full Size Steel Helmet pictured below, which will be Mounted on a Wooden Stand with an Engraved Plate.
