Wizard w/ Dwarf: does anyone know what this figure is?
« on: March 27, 2016, 07:12:26 PM »
It took me a while to figure out the orientation, but the stamp or mark apparently consists of the copyright symbol (c), the year 1990 [90] and an elaborate P.  I believe that this P could stand for the name of the company or the Artist.  I'm unable to find any signatures or stamps for an artist or company beginning with the letter P on fantasy or game miniatures that looks like this.  This miniature is apparently part of a game series, like Dungeons & Dragons (AD&D) or just a pewter figure in the Fantasy realm, like wizards.  It is of a wizard with his hand lovingly on top of a dwarf's or gnome's head.  The dwarf/gnome is a worker because he has a pick ax in his hand. I inherited a bunch of pewter pieces that I am researching to determine who made it.  I only have a few pieces remaining that I am unable to find out what they are.  Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The free-standing style (no base) seems familiar - I'm sure I had one similar, but cannot remember where I found it (or know now where I put it)
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)
