inquisimunda beast anyone?
« on: 17 April 2016, 08:34:42 PM »
Hi all. I'd like to find an exotic si fi beast to accompany my inquisimunda nobilist faction.

I like the eden range Lycaons very much, their multiple pairs of eyes making them really weird, but then they're kind of toxic waist scavengers with sores and the like, and i guess imperial nobles wouldn't have them for company!

Any idea ?

Thanks

Thanks for the links.

Pit beast are nice but a bit too brutal and equipped.

I like the four a one. Anything more mammal-like?

Thanks all

I'd fish through Reaper's catalog, especially the Bones stuff.  Lots of fantasy beasts that make fine alien critters instead, and the Bones stuff is both cheap and very easy to convert if you want to add stuff to make them look more scifi-ish.

Man, that GW model costs a mint.  If price is no object, there are also plenty of alien-ish figures over in the Privateer Press ranges.  Examples:

Speaking Reaper figs, here's a fairly simple kitbash using a Bones Toad Demon and the head of some unpronounceable Numenara fig:

Pretty big, that's a 60mm base.

Alien enough for use as a xeno warbeast?
